This bachelor thesis is focused on ergotherapeutic intervention in children with mental retardation. The thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The teoretical part describes the different types of mental disability, the ergotherapy and the relation between ergotherapy and childern with mental disability. In theoretical part there are ergotherapeutic methods described for specific phases of mental retardation, i.e. mental illness, moderate mental retardation, severe mental retardation and deep mental retardation. Of all the ergotherapeutic methods of the procedures, the method of leisure time activities - reconditioning stay - is dealt with in the most detailed way. The practical section of the bachelor thesis is focused on leisure time - reconditioning stay. In this part, I have used semi- structured interviewing methods to learn about the awareness of the field of ergotherapy in the non-profit sector. The interviews were attended by workers who have participated in the operation of reconditioning stays. Next, I have observed in detail the course of two reconditioning stays. Consequently, in my bachelor thesis, there is a comparison of such reconditioning stays (hereinafter referred to as "RP") and ergotherapeutic programmes. The main contribution of this thesis is that it...

The bachelor's work is particularly concerned with occupational therapy intervention in children with mental disabilities. The work has two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical section describes the types of mental disability and occupational therapy (the relationship between occupational therapy and children with mental disabilities). The concept of reconditioning is also discussed in this section. The following is a description of occupational therapy methods, techniques and approaches that are suitable for designing an occupational therapy reconditioning program. In the practical section there is a description of the two reconditioning stays completed, followed by a comparison. Unstructured conversations are used here, thereby establishing awareness of the field of occupational therapy in the non-profit sector. The talks were attended by workers involved in the running of reconditioning stays. In addition, two reconditioning stays are monitored with detailed observation. Based on a comparison of these reconditioning stays, an occupational therapy reconditioning programme is established with children with mental disabilities aged between five and eighteen. The main benefit of the work is to create an occupational therapy programme that has different applications. Occupational...
Recondition Stays as the Means of the Social Rehabilitation
BELLEROVÁ, Barbora
The main aim of this bachelor thesis was to map the possibilities and limits of reconditioning stays for people with Parkinson's disease in the context of social rehabilitation. The partial aim of this study was to reveal the benefits of the reconditioning stay from the point of the view of people with Parkinson's disease. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts, ie the theoretical part and the practical part. In the theoretical part, there are defined the basic concepts of this work. So what exactly the recondition stays and social rehabilitation mean and how they are described in the available literature. Further, I focused on people with Parkinson's disease, who are the main concern of this work. There are explained the basic specifics of this disease, the symptoms of the disease, its diagnosis and the possibilities of the treatment. Another part of this work is the role of social worker, who is important for the organization of recondition stays. In the practical part, the questionnaire are answered, HVO1: How are the reconditioning stays for the people with Parkinson's disease? HVO2: What are the benefits of reconditioning stays for people with Parkinson's? The research was done by qualitative research strategy and method of asking using the technique of semi-structured interview. For data analysis, I used the method of creating the clusters. The research sets were vhosden with the help of a purposed choice, which contains by 7 people with Parkinson's disease were picked, specifically 4 men and 3 women met the required selection criteria. The results revealed that for the people with Parkinson's disease the recondition stays are beneficial in many factors. According to the survey among participants of the recondition stay, it is obvious that the greatest benefit is the improvement of physical and mental well-being, mainly due to the relax from daily routines. Other advantages of the recondition stays are recognizing new people with the same handicap can deepen relationships with those who they have already known, trying of other exercises. Furthermore, the survey revealed that three from seven of the patients are satisfied with recondition stays, or they would welcome changing of the planned exercises. However, this depends primarily on the place and period of the recondition stays and it is not always possible to meet every wish of the individual. The results of the research will be used for the future realization of recondition stays of the Parkinson Club České Budějovice or other organizers. In addition, the research will serve as a feedback for the organizers of these recondition stays.
